Personal study: Negative spaces

The materials used for this work: 2B and 4B Pencils, sharpener and rubber.

Here we had to select a collection of household objects, focusing on the shapes of the objects which meant simplifying and capturing the characteristics of each item. This investigation had to be completed 20 minutes with each item. Negative spaces reminded me a lot of stencil cut-outs were I'd create an image only using shapes to describe the object/ scene.
